Simon is the Director of Action Plumbing with over 18 years experience in the industry. Not only is he a fully licenced plumber, roofer and gasfitter, Simon was raised on renovations and construction sites during the years he spent helping his Dad (Mark) as a teenager.

Simon takes enormous pride in continuing the Action Plumbing tradition of client focused and exceptional service. The quality of Action Plumbing’s work is of paramount importance and no detail goes unnoticed. His high standards show in the way he presents himself and delivers jobs to clients, clean and polished.

Simon’s favourite jobs are bathroom renovations where he can share his expert knowledge of functional and beautiful design choices. On weekends, you’ll find him burning energy with his kids or riding mountain bikes at every opportunity.

Sally steers the Action Plumbing ship by attending to the business and strategic direction, allowing Simon to work his magic for their clients.

Sally has experience in designing and planning renovations, for her own homes and for clients. Naturally, bathroom and laundry renovations are her favourite jobs.

When she’s not working, growing or raising babies, Sally is planning her next renovation and pouring over the latest design trends and sourcing gorgeous fixtures and fittings.

Daniel is a Licensed Plumber & Gas fitter, with over 6 years working in the plumbing industry. Before that Dan successfully established and ran his own Audio Visual Company. After over 15 years in the Audio Visual industry, Dan decided to take on an apprenticeship full time in the family business.

As the eldest brother in the Read family, Dan was also raised on renovations and construction sites helping his Dad (Mark) and working for Action Plumbing during school holidays as a teenager.

In his free time Dan enjoys riding mountain bikes and working around the house with his Wife Jess and their dog Rupert.

Harvey has been with Action since 2022 and he is a Journey person Plumber and is currently undertaking his Cert 4 in Plumbing & Gas fitting. He is hardworking, loyal and trustworthy. Although he’s still learning the craft of plumbing. he keeps Simon, & Dan on their toes with an expert level of banter.

Harvey also loves footy, obviously referring to in his words “the to best kind, AFL.” He plays for a local team called the Juggernauts and is an avid Melbourne Demons fan.

Mark is now (semi) retired. A fully licenced plumber, roofer and gasfitter and has over 40 years experience in the plumbing industry.

Mark founded Action Plumbing in 1983 and is responsible for the reputation and long history of professionalism and quality plumbing services.

Mark’s attention to detail in his work is a value he has imparted on all his employees. Mark is a long standing member and past president of the Master Plumber’s Association. You’ll find Mark attending to his long-term clients and spending any spare time playing outdoors with his grandchildren.
